By accessing or using Stack, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our service.
2. Description of Service
Stack is a non-custodial wallet interface that provides personalized guidance for cryptocurrency investments. We do not hold or have access to your funds - you maintain complete control of your private keys and cryptocurrency at all times. Our platform integrates with Stripe for secure on/off ramp services.
3. Non-Custodial Nature and Investment Risks
IMPORTANT RISK DISCLOSURE
- You maintain complete control of your private keys and funds
- Stack never holds, accesses, or controls your cryptocurrency
- Cryptocurrency investments are highly volatile and speculative
- You may lose some or all of your investment
- Stack is not a registered investment advisor
- We provide educational guidance, not investment advice
- Your investments are not FDIC insured
- You are solely responsible for all investment decisions
4. Eligibility
To use Stack, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a legal resident of the United States
- Have a valid U.S. bank account
- Provide accurate and complete information
5. Account Security
As a non-custodial wallet interface, you are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- Securing your private keys and wallet access
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your Stack account
- Using reasonable security measures to protect your wallet
Important: Stack cannot recover lost private keys or access your funds. We recommend using secure backup methods for your wallet.
6. Fees and Charges
We may charge fees for our guidance services. Stripe may charge separate fees for payment processing. All applicable fees will be disclosed to you before you incur them. Fees are subject to change with notice.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- Stack shall not be liable for any investment losses
- We are not responsible for lost private keys or inaccessible wallets
- Our liability is limited to the service fees you have paid us
- We disclaim all warranties, express or implied
- We are not liable for market volatility or performance
- You invest and manage your wallet at your own risk
8. Prohibited Activities
You may not:
- Use the service for illegal activities
- Attempt to manipulate or exploit our systems
- Share your account with others
- Reverse engineer our software
- Use the service if you are a prohibited person under applicable law
9. Termination
We may restrict access to our guidance services for violation of these terms. However, since Stack is non-custodial, we cannot prevent you from accessing your own funds or wallet. You may stop using our services at any time.
10. Regulatory Compliance
Stack operates as a software interface in compliance with applicable regulations. Our platform facilitates your own investment decisions and wallet management. We work with regulated partners like Stripe for payment processing.
11. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to you via email or app notification.
